Apparently Generation will be the new single after "no love".

Hmz I think this is nuts seeing as "No love" was never officially a single... Plus, the guys will be heading in the studio soon, or so we've been told, but nonetheless ...

Discuss!!!

HAs anyone of us heard No love on the radio? Seen a video? As long as there's no official word, i refuse to believe no love & generation are a single.

I didn't see a vid at all. Didn't even see anything on the SP site about
"No Love"...but I mean, come ON! "Generation"? Really? Ugh!

I agree! I want to know what kind of video they would have come up with for No Love

No Love was just released as a radio single so I'm guessing that is what they will do for Generation.

Maybe it has something to do with the record label. How many videos did they make from the Simple Plan album? Maybe they have a limit or something depending on record sales. That is just my guess anyway.

they did three videos. It has nothing to do with labels.

From a label's point of few it is stupid to make a video for No love and for generation seeing as the guys don't have any plans to "tour" with this album. And i don't mean festivals and whatnot.

They are planning to go into the studio ....

Thats what I meant. Afterall the label is the one who foots the bill for the music videos and if they aren't touring I guess it isn't worth releasing a video for them. Although it would be nice to see music videos for those songs. Its good to hear them on the radio though.

But I was just wondering how that works.. like how do they decide how many music videos a band (group or artist whatever) releases off an album? Because there are some artists who release quite a few off an album where as others might only release 1 or 2. My theory is that its based on record sales. What do you all think?

It all depends I think on how popular they are. If they can tour with one album for two years, they can release more singles off an album than if they only tour a year with the album

Generation has been being played on Chum FM lately and a few other radio stations have been playing at as well.
